Truman State's Celebration of National Constitution Day
Monday, September 22nd, 2008
On Monday, September 22, 2008, from 5:00-7:00 pm, in the Student Union Building Spanish Room, a round table discussion entitled "The Constitution and the Power of the President after 9/11: Have Things Changed?," will be held. The discussion will be moderated by Truman State University Provost Paino and Professors Mandell and Parker will provide comments. Heavy hors d'oeuvre will be served. Those interested in attending should sign-up online or come by the SUB Administrative Offices.

The Truman State University Student Union Building played host to the University's celebration the 221st anniversary of the signing of the United States Constitution with:
- Distribution US Constitution and its Amendments booklets
- Display of poster sized copies of the US Constitution
- A Constitutional Knowledge Competition
- Office of Citizenship and Community Standards Voter Registration Drive
- Constitution Birthday Cake & Punch
- Patriotic Music
