 This office is responsible for all Union facilities, meeting room reservations, and maintenance of the building.  The building hours are 7am-midnight, Monday through Thursday, 7am -11pm Fridays, 8am-11pm Saturdays, and noon to midnight on Sundays.  The office is located on the main level of the Student Union.

 This office reserves all meeting rooms, banquet rooms, the Down Under facility, display cases, lobby tables, and some additional classrooms across the University on weekends and evenings for recognized University student organizations in good standing, departments, and divisions.  Eligible non-University organizations may reserve rooms in the Union for non-commercial activities for a fee.

The Administrative Office offers technical equipment such as a technology cart, microphones, podiums, easels, flags, flip-charts, and limited audio/video equipment, to be used only in the Student Union.

Your Truman Bookstore, located in the lowel level of the Student Union Building, has a wide variety of services available including: textbooks with online ordering available for both new and used copies, office supplies including special orders, emblematic apparel and school spirit items, general reading books including Barnes and Noble national bestsellers and special order, convenience items including snack and incidentals, greeting cards and gifts, fax and UPS shipping services, student organization special orders, special occasion orders including fresh flowers and balloons with free on-campus delivery, and online student discounts for Dell Computers and software.  A percentage of every sale goes back to the Truman Community.

Located on the lower level of the Union, Student Involvement is primarily responsible for campus programming, student organization development services, leadership development, and leadership recognition programs. 

The Center for Student Involvement (CSI)  has many resources for student organizations. A few of these resources include consultation services by a professional staff member, leadership programming for organizations, and many other resources such as banner supplies, poster printer, karaoke machine, snow cone machine and many games.

A student organization work/resource room is located adjacent to the CSI which houses the student organization mailboxes, copy machine, poster paper, and a large meeting area.

Annual events coordinated by Student Involvement include: Truman Week activities, Activities Fair, Homecoming, the Leadership Recognition Program and the Golden Leadership Awards.

Located on the West end of the upper level of the Union is the Student Affairs Office.  Student Affairs is responsible for staffing, leadership, oversight and coordination for the many departments and services areas included in Student Affairs.  In general, Student Affairs departments provide support for student success in and out of the classroom.  Personnel housed in the Student Affairs Office advocate for student needs, respond to student emergencies, coordinate student leadership and support activities and oversee implementation of the Student Conduct Code.

 The ID Office is located within the Administrative Office complex.  The office issues new and replacement identification cards to all members of the Truman community for their use while at the University.  The Truman ID Card serves as a multipurpose identification card, library card, meal card (when a meal plan has been purchased), and laundry debit card (when cash value is added to the card).  The card may also serve as an ATM/Debit card when the cardholder has a U.S. Bank checking account and the card is activated.

 The Information Center is located in the main concourse across from Mainstreet. It will provide directions, information, and answers to a variety of questions concerning campus and the local area for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.  Campus maps and various campus and area brochures are available here.  Also, you may send or receive a fax, purchase stamps, or use a coin-operated copy machine.

 Located within the Administrative Office complex, the University Food Service Office maintains and operates all food facilities on campus.  As stipulated in our contractual arrangement, all food services in the Union must be provided by Sodexo.  Bonus Bucks can be purchased through this office, allowing customers to use their ID cards to pay for food.

 Mainstreet Market is the central restaurant and gathering place on the main concourse.  Customers can choose from soup and salad bar, Blimpie subs, Godfather’s Pizza, and much more.  Students have transferability privileges and may use their meal cards at this facility, but they may not transfer privileges between the hours of 11:30am and 12:30pm Monday-Friday.

Catering Office is located adjacent to Mainstreet.  They are in charge of all catered meals and refreshments.  A room must first be reserved through the Administrative Office before contacting the Catering Office.  Full meal reservations should be arranged at least one week in advance; refreshments should be ordered three days in advance.

Located adjacent to the CSI, the Greek Life Office hosts a variety of Greek letter organizations.  Greek Life is dedicated to promoting and maintaining a positive learning environment in which all participants can develop leadership skills, good citizenship, and camaraderie among their peers.

Located on the lower level adjacent to the CSI, the Student Senate is the official representative body of all students.  It appoints student representation to all University committees, conveys student opinion through passage of resolutions, and conducts programs such as Educator of the Year.

Located on the lower level of the Union across from the Down Under, this office seeks to assist and promote student involvement in community service.  The SERVE Center works with a number of community agencies to coordinate volunteer efforts of the student body.  In addition to providing information and opportunities to interested volunteers throughout the year the SERVE Center organizes a one-day service project, The BIG Event.

Located adjacent to the CSI on the lower level, the WRC is a division of Student Affairs.  It is a politically neutral organization that seeks to provide informative and innovative programming and events for the men and women of TSU and the Kirksville community.   The WRC is focused on women and gender issues, yet serves everyone on campus.
